The fog is so thick this morning at Main Beach that you cannot see the water from our house on the Boardwalk. GLP is coming alive, with so many families arriving for the holiday weekend. The July classes started yesterday, as well as the first kiddie movie at the Casino last night. Our five year old grandson went for the first time, thanks to the generous invitation of Will, our eight year old neighbor. He came back with a blue tongue from some unidentified candy and an enthusiasm for "Hotel for Dogs". This led to my husband and his brother's reminiscences of their youth at GLP, and their own attendance at the kiddie movies. (Silents?) The first issue of the GLP News was delivered by two lovely young ladies, and reading it reminded us of how great it is to be back for another season! BTW, the ads look great! Please call and support these local businesses- many of them GLP residents. 4th of July Parade coming up....the excitement is building among the grandchildren in this household.....
